Iran exported 575 tons of tea while importing 14,350 tons during Q1, 2020

Iran has exported over 575 tons of tea generating $493,785 in revenues during the Q1 of the current Iranian fiscal year. The main export destinations for Iranian tea were Iraq, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Germany, India, Tajikistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Turkey. On the other hand, the country imported over 14,3 KMT of tea worth $68.9 million mainly from India, Sri Lanka, and the UAE.
Iran imports around 70 KMT/year of tea.
