From Jan-23 to Nov-23, Chile's exports of Atlantic salmon, encompassing both fresh and frozen varieties, totaled 505,511 metric tons (mt). This marked a 3.4% increase year-on-year (YoY). The primary export markets for this salmon species were the United States (US), constituting 43% (215,014 mt), followed by Brazil at 22% (112,922 mt), Russia at 8% (37,964 mt), and China at 7% (36,047 mt). The remaining 20% of exports, amounting to 103,564 mt, were distributed among 70 other destinations.
