Small sized avocados to head to East Asian countries

Kenyan fruit exporters face challenges offering large-sized Avocados of caliber 12-14 to the most prime market in Europe as the season progresses. Large-sized Avocados are highly preferred in destination countries in Europe and Asia such as Rotterdam, Hong Kong, Spain, and Portugal. Most of the smaller-sized Avocados are treated as rejects and sold at low prices contributing to losses in sales.

To maximize profit, exporters from Kenya are set to open doors and offer more small-sized Avocados to East Asian countries where they are preferred the most.
