Logistic issues still impacting the shipping of Melon/Watermelon abroad

Even with the guarantee of firm freight prices for the season, from August 2021 to March 2022, large exporters are still facing shipping challenges. The situation is that at least half of their embarkments get delayed for 4-5 days, causing enormous logistic issues on the whole supply chain. Since they ship out large amounts of fruits on a weekly basis, the whole chain is getting pressured with vessels delays, long vessel cues at the ports, and container shortage, which are uncontrollable.
