In Tunisia, the cold temperatures and strong winds had a negative impact on the Blue Swimming Crab landings in W4. The fishermen were unable to go into the water to catch the crabs which caused a backlog of scheduled shipments. In W5, the weather will likely improve. The exporters have maintained the pricing for the pre-booked cargoes despite the low availability. Depending on the specified variety, the cost of 100-200g for crabs ranges from USD 3.00/kg-USD 4.50/kg.
