After Argentinian peanut farmers experienced a planting delay in September, planting started in October and finished in W48. According to the Argentine Peanut Chamber, there is almost a 15% reduction in planted area. Scattered rains have continued to fall, but much more will be needed going forward, and forecasts are not showing a positive rain outlook. A deep drought has affected the country in recent months and continues to affect crops from the main regions.
