The central government in Madrid has agreed to provide €143,500 in stimulus packages to ovine producers in the country. This comes after producers reported one of the worst years on record due to the pandemic. Normally, March and April are strong sales months for producers as orders for the summer period are placed. However, this period coincided with the peak of the pandemic and the lockdown measure.
