China is considered the main market for exporting fresh young coconut from Thailand. Due to COVID-19 cases arising in China again causing the demand to drop, the price at the farm gate in Thailand for fresh young coconut decreased from USD 0.47/pc (THB 16.5/pc) in W47 to USD 0.41/pc (THB 14.5/pc) in W48 as a result of slow sales in China.
