In Colombia, the wholesale prices of imported pears increased due to the high production costs and the low supply from Chile during W3. The transport of this fruit was also affected by the landslides and closures of some roads in the country. The above behavior occurred in nineteen of the twenty-five wholesale markets where it was sold. The price increased from USD 2.31/kg (COP 10,526/kg) to USD 2.54/kg (COP 11,579/kg) in Medellin Central Mayorista.
