From W46 in 2023 to W1 in 2024, prices for Hass avocados from Colombia and Tanzania in the Rotterdam wholesale market, Netherlands, experienced adjustments in response to market demand. Colombian Hass avocados (size 18-24, 4kg box) decreased from USD 15.26/box to USD 13.08/box, while (size 26/28/30/32, 10kg box) increased from USD 17.44 per 10 kg box to USD 21.80/box. Tanzanian avocados were priced at USD 11.45/box for (size 14-18, 4kg box) and USD 9.81/box for (size 20/24, 4kg box). Additionally, small sizes were scarce during W1, and prices are anticipated to increase for these sizes in the upcoming weeks.
