The winter season has arrived in China, which caused a substantial decline in the demand for coconut as a summer beverage ingredient resulting in a decreased selling price. On the Guangzhou wholesale market 40 coconut containers from Thailand were opened on December 6, 2022 with the highest price at approximately USD 8.31-8.59/11.5kg box (RMB 58-60/11.5kg box), and the lowest price at approximately USD 5.73-6.01/11.5kg box (RMB 40-42/11.5kg box). However, despite the extremely low selling prices of coconuts, the sales movement is slow.
