Fruit and vegetable export status in Vietnam

According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, vegetable and fruit export in June 2020 reached 257.3 million USD, down 7.1% compared to June 2019. In the first 6 months of 2020, the export value of fruits and vegetables reached US $ 1.76 billion, down 13.6% over the same period in 2019. While the export of vegetables and fruits to the Chinese market dropped sharply, exports to other markets increased sharply. According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore, nearly 50 tons of lychee were exported to the Singapore market from Hai Phong port in June 2020.
