The Government of Ukraine may introduce regulation of prices for sunflower oil and wheat flour.

To ensure Ukraine's food security, the government is working on a memorandum between the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine and participants in retail markets and producers of vegetable oils, flour, and bakery products. This initiative envisages preventing the increase in the sale price of sunflower oil, wheat flour, and bread higher than the price level in retail chains as of March 1, 2021. If this memorandum is signed, price regulation will be valid until July 1, 2021.
