The state of Sinaloa is the main agro producer in Mexico of Roma tomatoes. The harvesting was delayed due to cold weather conditions affecting the volume available in the markets. In the Nogales market, volume has been less than expected, and buyers are cautious and forecast a price decrease soon. In W1, prices remained stable, ranging from USD 20-23/25 lbs for jumbo and extra large sizes and USD 17-19/25 lbs for large and medium sizes. Markets are forecasting a stable behavior with no drastic drops due to better weather conditions.
