The Vietnamese pepper faces a shortage of stock

Vietnamese pepper price is around VND 72,000 - 75,000/kg in the domestic market, depending on the production area. In August 2021, the industry may face a shortage of stock due to a lack of sufficient supply from July, as all farmers and traders in the southern provinces were in social isolation due to the COVID-19. Thereby, the import volume of Pepper from Cambodia to Vietnam may increase for replenishing this lack of stock
