Top shell export value from Turkiye in January-February 2023 increased by 62% YoY from USD 2.3M to USD 3.28M. Meanwhile, export volume declined 7% YoY from 357MT to 332MT. Japan was the main export destination, worth USD 1.34M, followed by China with USD 731,000, South Korea with USD 722,000, and Spain with USD 488,000. 49% of Turkiye's top shells were harvested from the Black Sea, and the new season is expected to start in May-June 2023.
