Turkish 2022 Paddy Rice Production Estimate and Prices

In Turkey, the paddy rice harvest for 2022 started in September and it is estimated that the production will be 950,000MT (TurkStat 1st Estimate). Paddy markets have been closely monitored and Turkish Grain Board policies have been shaped according to the course of the markets. At this point, Turkish Grain Board paddy purchase prices for the 2022 campaign have been determined as follows:

For Baldo group paddy: USD 819.67/MT (55 yield)
For Cameo group paddy: USD 792.35/MT (58 yield)
For free group paddy: USD 765.03/MT (58 Yield)
For Osmancık group paddy: USD 737.70/MT (60 yield)
For Ronaldo group paddy: USD 710.38/MT 60 yield)
For Luna group paddy: USD 683.06/MT (65 yield)
