According to the Turkish Official Gazette of the Turkish Ministry of Trade, there will be seasonal export restrictions on some agricultural products (potato, tomato, onion, garlic, olive, red lentil, orange, watermelon, eggplant, green pepper, citrus lemon, apple, olive oil, poultry products, chicken egg) and the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture will be responsible for the regulations. The regulation is considered a precaution for food inflation in Turkey. Also, there are opinions that this restriction will improve the quality of the products for domestic consumption.
