The current wholesale market price of class1 Vietnam red flesh jackfruits reaches USD 3.5 per kilo. Due to the severe shortage on the wholesale market caused by container stocks at the land port and the attractive profit expectation, some importers are willing to spend USD 13,000 more than usual to finish the custom clearance procedure. After successful clearance, the estimated profit will reach USD 30,000-USD 50,000 RH 40' container.
