The initial shipment of Rojo Brillante persimmons from Spain has reached Mercamadrid wholesale market in W39 and W40, marking the beginning of the season. Anticipating a good crop in 2023, wholesale prices range from USD 1.38 to USD 2.12 per kilogram (EUR 1.30 to EUR 2/kg), depending on the quality. These prices are forecasted to remain stable throughout the season.
