The Samsun Metropolitan Municipality in Turkey has distributed 81 tons of silage corn seeds to local producers as part of a project aimed at increasing, diversifying, and developing forage crops planting areas. The municipality's Department of Agricultural Services is providing support and offering consultancy visits to producers. Ahmet Kahramanoğlu, a farmer who has been producing silage corn for five years, expressed his gratitude for the supports, stating they are essential with increasing costs.
