A meeting was held between Ricardo Sánchez, the director of the Northern Patagonia Regional Center, and Carlos Banacloy, the provincial minister of Río Negro, to discuss the collaboration between Senasa and the Ministry of Production and Agroindustry. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the Fresh Fruit Export Programs and addressing issues such as the operation of the Risk Mitigation System for the export of pears, apples, and quinces to Brazil, the phytosanitary situation of the productive valleys, the presence of sheep scabies in Rio Negro fields, and the updating of the National Plan for the Control and Eradication of Bovine Brucellosis. Additionally, the meeting covered the operation of slaughter establishments within the Rio Negro territory.
