The Brazilian Angus Association promotes producers meeting in Paraná on beef on dairy crossbreeding

On October 30, starting at 9 am, the Brazilian Angus Association will hold a meeting of producers at the Frisia Cooperative (Digital Agro Pavilion - Expofrisia), in Carambeí (PR), with the aim of presenting the latest actions of the Certified Angus Beef Program. The highlight of the event will be the Beef on Dairy crossbreeding, a global trend that has been successful in the United States. This method consists of crossing dairy cows of the Holstein and Jersey breeds with Angus bulls, resulting in high-quality meat designed to meet the demand of the premium market. To address this topic, the meeting will feature the presence of researcher and confinement specialist Pedro Carvalho, who will share information on the production of meat from dairy herds in the USA, as well as the challenges and opportunities that this crossbreeding offers to Brazilian livestock.
