Colombia goes for the record of meat exports in 2021

From January to July of this year, Colombia exported USD 120 million (29,031 tons) in beef, while throughout 2020 international sales reached USD 123.3 million (34 124 tons). This was revealed by the Office of Planning and Economic Studies of the Colombian Federation of Livestock Farmers (Fedegán) which, based on DANE statistics, also indicated that the figures in both tons and value (dollars) are historical for livestock in the country.
