Colombia goes for the record of meat exports in 2021

In the same period of 2019, they totaled 11,639 tons (USD 42.7 million) and in 2018 they were 11,823 tons (USD 48.2 million). Good news for the sector José Félix Lafaurie Rivera, executive president of Fedegán, stated that the months with the highest exports this year were February and March with 5,269 (USD 20.5 million) and 5,115 (USD 20.4 million) tons each. In April, May and June they decreased due to unemployment and vandalism blockades that had the country's economy in check.
