The Emet Municipality of Kütahya, Turkey, is implementing a project to boost the production of goat cheese by providing new machinery and equipment to producers in the Emet district. The project, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Zafer Development Agency, aims to employ local citizens, brand the district's famous goat cheese, and increase milk production. The project also includes the distribution of 1,000 goats to 25 producers and an arrangement where the municipality collects a certain amount of milk from each producer in return for a fee. The collected goat milk will be processed into cheese and sold through a municipality company.
