Eroski has launched Eroski Smart Shop, a solution that allows customers to shop via WhatsApp using artificial intelligence and receive their purchases at home in approximately one hour. The cooperative has launched a pilot experience in Bilbao to test this conversational and personalized shopping model. This is the first proposal in Spain with these characteristics and is currently being tested in nine of the chain's own stores in the Biscayan capital. The pilot will run for a year with the aim of measuring the acceptance of the service and optimizing the experience before its possible expansion. The system allows the customer to make purchases through a natural conversation via text or audio, as if they were talking to a person, and also allows the introduction of images, such as a photo of the shopping list.
