The forestry complexes, tea and yerba mate closed the first half of the year with an increase in their exports, according to a survey prepared by the Agricultural Foundation for the Development of Argentina (FADA). In the case of forestry activity, the dynamics in terms of foreign trade is similar to other value chains, with an increase in turnover and a cut in volumes shipped. Between January and June, they exported for US$289.5 million, which in the year-on-year comparison marked a rise of 2%, but with a drop of 29% in the volumes shipped.
