Good yields of wheat were harvested in Zala County, Hungary

The autumn barley produced on 6,446 hectares was harvested, the average yield per hectare was 5.6 tons. 5.5 tons of winter wheat were produced per hectare, and the grain was harvested on nearly 60 percent of the almost 30,000-hectare area. The yield of rapeseed grown on 13,417 hectares was 2.6 tons per hectare. The average yield of triticale on 540 hectares is 4.5 tons per hectare, while that of spring barley on 1231 hectares is 4.6 tons. 70 percent of the crop was harvested from triticale and 30 percent from spring barley. Harvesting has also begun in the oat fields, with 3.5 tons of harvest per hectare expected in the 587-hectare area.
