Turkey: Harvest and planting ceremony for "San Andreas" strawberry was held in Muğla

Harvesting and planting of the "San Andreas" strawberry, popularly known as the "Vali Hanım" strawberry, was carried out in the Yatağan district of Muğla. 1 million strawberry seedlings procured with the support of Muğla Governorship and Investment Monitoring Coordination Presidency (YIKOB) will be distributed to producers in Muğla and its districts. In this context, a harvest and planting ceremony was held in the strawberry field created in Bencik District. Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Governor İsmail Soykan stated that they are aware of the contributions of the project and that YİKOB supports agricultural projects. Emphasizing the success of the project, Soykan said, "Since the project started, the production areas have increased approximately 20 times. Bencik Mahallesi produces and adds value to the project.
