Between January and March of 2022, Turkey experienced a 16% increase in dried fruit exports, totaling $403.25 million, as reported by the Anadolu Agency and the Southeast Anatolia Exporters Association (GAİB). These products found their way into 129 countries and free trade zones. The export portfolio was led by seedless raisins, with dried apricots, pistachios, and dried figs rounding out the top spots. There was a notable 66% rise in pistachio exports during the same period. The EU, particularly Germany, the UK, and Italy, emerged as the primary destinations for these exports, with the EU market receiving dried fruits worth $163.78 million.
