The Karaganda region in Kazakhstan is actively engaging in spring sowing, with a goal to cover 1057.7 thousand hectares by the end of May, marking a 40,000 hectare increase in grain field areas. This expansion includes more space for potatoes and vegetables, supported by over 9,500 tractors, 229 seeding complexes, and 5,556 seeders. Farmers are aided by cheaper diesel fuel and subsidies for equipment and supplies. Leaders like Zhenis Kassymbek are overseeing the progress, especially in farms like 'Chance' and 'Astra-Agro LTD', which are expanding and innovating in both crop and animal production. The region is also investing in the restoration of degraded pastures, creating new farms, and developing poultry farming capacities, showcasing a robust commitment to agricultural modernization and growth.
