Vietnam has emerged as the third largest supplier of mangoes to South Korea in the first 11 months of 2022, with volumes reaching 1.7 thousand tons valued at $7.4 million, marking a 19.1% increase in volume and a 24.8% increase in value compared to the same period in 2021. The average price of imported mangoes from Vietnam was $4,232.3 per ton, showing a 4.7% increase over the same period in 2021. Overall, South Korea's mango imports amounted to 22 thousand tons, valued at $95.3 million, marking a 4.1% increase in volume and an 8.2% increase in value year-on-year. Thailand and Peru were the largest suppliers of mangoes to Korea, contributing 81.2% of the total mango imports.
