Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Phung Duc Tien, discussed the challenges of the pig industry, such as declining orders, which result in reduced domestic pork consumption and a significant price gap from farm to table. He emphasized the importance of promoting deep processing and the value chain to boost pork exports as a strategy for improving domestic pig prices and benefiting farmers.
