The 2024 Norway-UK Seafood Summit, organised by the Norwegian Seafood Council, brought together nearly 200 stakeholders to discuss the future of the seafood industry. The summit focused on strengthening trade relations between the two countries, with an emphasis on collaboration, transparency, and sustainable growth. Key speakers included representatives from RBC BlueBay Asset Management, Norwegian Seafood Council, Worldpanel by Kantar, M&S Food Group, and thefoodpeople. The UK and Norway have a long-standing seafood partnership, with top exports from Norway to the UK including salmon, cod, haddock, cold water prawns and halibut.
