Ornamental plants are becoming an alternative crop in Mersin agriculture.

As climate conditions and market structures impact agricultural production, Mersin has been accelerating its shift towards alternative products with high added value and export potential. In this context, the first step was taken for the 'Çukurova Flora' Ornamental Horticulture UR-GE Project, which will be realized in collaboration between the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO), the Tarsus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mersin Agropark.
