The Peruvian Amazon agro-industry is once again standing out on the global stage. The Loreto-based company Productos VEBA S.A.C., with its filter tea made from camu camu, obtained the prestigious Médaille Gourmet at the 8th edition of the International Competition "Los Tés del Mundo 2025," organized by the AVPA in Paris. The award was given to their flagship product, Camu-té, a filter tea made from camu camu—the native superfruit of the Amazon—developed with the support of the CITEproductivo Maynas of the Technological Institute of Production (ITP) of the Ministry of Production (Produce).
