Brazil Becomes an Important Reference for Indonesia's Low-Carbon Energy Mix

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BRASILIA -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto underscored the importance of Brazil's experience in biofuel development and integrated agricultural sectors. According to him, Brazil's innovations in these two fields have provided tangible impacts on the economy and energy security. Prabowo noted that Brazil's achievements could serve as a valuable example for Indonesia. The President is currently on a state visit to the country in South America. "We see your success (Brazil) in developing biofuels, and I believe we are determined to pursue the progress you have achieved," said the Head of State of Indonesia during a bilateral meeting with President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, quoted on Thursday (10/7/2025).
