The article reports on the initiation of the construction of the Raviart hydro-agricultural dam, a project funded by the Côte d'Ivoire State and the Bad, with an estimated cost of 2.7 billion (€ 4.1 billion). The dam, capable of storing 8 million m3, is aimed at boosting agricultural, pastoral, and fishery production. In conjunction with the dam's construction, a 125 ha rice-growing area is being developed. The project is set to be completed in January 2022. Additionally, an agro-pastoral training center in Raviart has been inaugurated, and the Adfa-Bélier project, which focuses on supporting young people in the cassava and market gardening sectors in the Bélier region, has been launched.
