The report provides an overview of Egypt's agricultural exports in the first quarter of the 2021/2022 export season, which ran from September 2021 to August 2022. During this period, the country exported 18,000 tons of fresh strawberries, generating $60.3 million in revenue. Overall, agricultural crops exports reached 777.6 thousand tons, valued at $617,664,000. The majority of these exports were received by Arab countries, notably Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with Europe being the second largest market. Citrus fruit was the most significant export product, contributing $93,983,000 to the total value.
