The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a disruption in the supply and demand of agricultural products in Hai Phong, Vietnam. Agricultural products such as cabbage, tomatoes, kohlrabi, and sea bass, among others, are facing low prices and stagnation due to cancelled orders from restaurants and hotels. The Hai Phong Farmers Association has reported the situation to the city Party Committee and proposed solutions including the transportation of agricultural products to other provinces and the purchase of these products by the city. The Hai Phong Youth Union is also supporting farmers by buying their products and selling them through five points of sale.
