On Tuesday, May 23, the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certifier convened a virtual meeting to carry out the first annual supervision of the certification of the king crab (Lithodes santolla) fishery, which this fishery has had in Argentina since March 2022. The evaluators Dr. Enrique Morsan; Dr. Italo Campodonico; Ing. Edith Saa Collantes and Ing. Karelys Ruiz Barrios, assistant MSC Program Manager – Fisheries and Chain of Custody International Agricultural Organization (OIA). It should be noted that the members of the Benthic Crustaceans Program of the National Institute for Fisheries Research and Development (INIDEP) were also part of the meeting: Dr. Carla Firpo, Eng.
