Prime Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, during a working trip to Washington, held negotiations with the Managing Director of the World Bank for Operational Activities, Anna Bjerde. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, economic reforms, and priority projects. Adylbek Kasymaliev reported that over the past four years, the average annual growth of the Kyrgyz economy was 10.2 percent, and in 2025, GDP increased by 11.1 percent. He noted that in 2025, more than 273 thousand jobs were created, and the volume of investment in fixed capital increased by 18.4 percent compared to the previous year.
