Consumption farm house prices increased by 15.26% to 19.57% depending on the category in the Caýuelas (MAG) market on Friday, which may impact carne pricing for the public. This adjustment is due to a delay in price adjustments caused by last year's inflation and the impact of rainfall and a reduced supply of heavy animals from feedlots. Prices for calves and cubs increased significantly, and overall prices, including exports, rose by 8.5%. David Miazzo, chief economist of the Agropecuaria for Argentina Development Foundation (FADA), believes that these increases, which may be passed on to consumers, are long overdue and could have more impact on carne pricing.
