Ukraine Facility: The EU finally approved the Plan of Ukraine

The European Union finally approved the Plan of Ukraine, necessary for the implementation of the Ukraine Facility program in the amount of 50 billion euros. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal. "The approval of the Plan allows us to fully launch the Ukraine Facility — our state will receive EUR 1.89 billion in pre-financing. In general, this year, within the framework of the program, we expect to attract 16 billion euros. This will strengthen our financial stability in the face of a full-scale war with Russia," Shmyhal said. The Prime Minister thanked Belgium, which chairs the Council of the EU, and the member states of the European Union for their high assessment of the Plan of Ukraine.
