At the Government, a meeting was held on the instructions of the President of the country, given on February 10 at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet. Following the meeting, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov set a number of tasks for the Ministry of Agriculture, reports the government press service. As reported by the Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, the focus will be on the implementation of the Comprehensive Livestock Development Plan for 2026-2030 and the expansion of preferential financing for the industry. Separate tasks have been identified for strengthening veterinary safety and the introduction of digital traceability tools. In the processing and food industries, additional incentives are provided, including an increase in investment subsidies and a reduction in VAT from 2026, as well as the launch of new projects for deep processing of raw materials.
