Next week, an 11-winery trade mission from South Australia, organized by the Australian-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce (SA) – AVCC, is set to explore the Vietnamese wine market, which has shown promising growth with revenues hitting US$229.20 million in 2023 alongside a 2.5 percent increase in volume. The 'SA Wine Connect 2024' event, backed by Austrade, the Department for Trade and Investment (SA), and VietTrade, will be held in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, aiming to draw over 300 trade buyers, influencers, and attendees through masterclasses and industry tastings. This initiative, following the recent inauguration of a new AVCC office in Hanoi, underscores the strengthening economic relations and burgeoning opportunities for South Australian wine exporters in Vietnam's dynamic market.
