The President of the Sakarya Commodity Exchange, Adem Sarı, has expressed concern over the potential negative impact of speculation on the hazelnut market in Turkey. He warns that this could lead to a decrease in Turkey's share in the global hazelnut production from the current 70% to 50% within the next 15 years. Sarı emphasizes that speculation harms producers, traders, and exporters and advocates for logical strategies to protect the industry instead.
