A reduction in the global demand of the West Coast Rock Lobster has resulted in a decline in the export price. Experts have stated that this drop in demand was fuelled by the coronavirus outbreak in China. This has been the case as China is a top global importer of crayfish but has had trade limitations imposed on it due to this pandemic.
