Turkey's egg production declines whilst chicken meat production increases

Turkey's egg production declined in the month of March by 1.3% compared to the previous month and by 2.8% compared to the same month of the previous year. In total, 1.7 billion chicken eggs were produced in Turkey during March.

On the other hand chicken meat production went up by 10.9% compared to the previous month and 9.3% compared to March of 2019. Turkey has produced a total of 192 kmt of chicken meat in March.

Turkey meat production went up by 20% since February and reached 5.1 kmt.
