Mexico preventing workers from entering Canada

Mexico has temporarily stopped the flow of temporary foreign workers to Canada after two died due to COVID. This is a blow to fruit growers across the country, especially those in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec, as Mexican foreign labor is used extensively in the fruit picking and packing of blueberries and cherries.
